It was great fun and we had amazing weather.
Thanks to your continued generosity, I’m incredibly pleased to report that the final amount raised for My Cancer My Choices was £750. Nigel has also raised the same for his charity Sebastian’s Action Trust.
Special thanks to my VC Fi for helping and supporting before and during the event, Al W for collecting and checking the scorecards, Sarah and Barbara for staffing the half-way hut, “The Bakers” for contributing all of the yummy treats, Sam Cook for taking the photos, Ish and Sandy for sourcing the 4-ball vouchers for the auction and my lovely son Sam who thoroughly enjoyed himself playing “pro for the day”. If I’ve forgotten anyone, please forgive me!
Thanks should also go to Nigel, Steve and Dean from the Men’s section for their help and support.
The winners of the team competition were Denice, Louise, Paul and Nigel with the runners up Barbs, Foanie, Dawn and Andy – well done all.
Nearest the pins were Jamie Sheehan, Fi and Kathryn, Champion Putter was Dibs, with Pamela a close second in a putt-off, and straightest drive (Simon has apologised for not drawing the line) was Ian Goodall.
