Foanie , Vicky and Penny all reached the final of the NAPGC UKPCC competition and arrived at Woodall Spa on various time scales Penny took the slow and luxurious route , Foanie broke the journey over night , while Vicky just went for it with a long drive this morning to set herself up for a round of golf
Anyway onto the golf – all played in the usual great spirit – and although the course was not long it had the trickiest greens I’ve seen. Many a time the ball would wave gently to the hole as it sailed on by to the other side !
However none of this fazed Vicky who I’m absolutely delighted to say came in as the overall winner .
To keep her company Penny managed second place in Division 2 so we felt we all did ELGC proud .
Foanie ( with Sam ) and Vicky are driving home this evening – safe journey to you all .
Oh and if you’ve never been to Woodall Spa it turns out to be a quaint beautiful little town . I’m off to try one of the several dinner spots now
